2006 Meineke Car Care Bowl

Congratulations to all the participants in the 2006 Meineke Car Care Bowl, and especially to the Boston College Eagles for their 25-24 victory over the Navy Midshipmen!

The 2006 Meineke Car Care Bowl will see the Midshipmen of the U.S. Naval Academy take the Boston College Eagles from the Atlantic Coast Conference. Both Boston College and Navy finished regular season play with impressive 9-3 records. Boston College enters the postseason tied (with Utah) for most bowl-game wins in a row and hoping to extend that streak to six. Navy always brings a lot of pageantry to add to the festivities. The Navy Midshipmen bring one of the nation's best rushing offenses to the game, and they proved last year during the inaugural Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego that they can put points on the board, defeating Colorado State 51-30.
