2006 Hawaii Bowl

Congratulations to all the participants in the 2006 Hawaii Bowl, and especially to the Hawaii Warriors, who defeated the Arizona Sun Devils 41-24, as the Warriors’ quarterback, Colt Brennan, threw five touchdown passes in the second half, breaking the NCAA single-season record for TD passes.

This year’s representatives of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) at the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl will be…the University of Hawaii! Last year’s record didn’t qualify the Warriors for a berth, although the Nevada Wolf Pack stepped in and provided a wild 49-48 OT win over the Central Florida Golden Eagles. Hawaii’s change of fortune in 2006 was due in no small part to the record-breaking passing performance of QB Colt Brennan.

The Pac-10 opponent will be the Arizona State University Sun Devils. Now's a great time to think about tickets to the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. Know anybody who roots for the Warriors or the Sun Devils? Know anybody who would like to be in Honolulu on Christmas Eve? Let Coast to Coast Tickets help you play Santa!
