Congratulations to the Anaheim Ducks, winners of the 2007 Stanley Cup!

The Anaheim Ducks are back on the ice, and you’ll want tickets to Honda Center (formerly known as Arrowhead Pond) to cheer them on! Your Anaheim Ducks tickets won’t say “Mighty” anymore, but their performance should.

The Anaheim Ducks had a mighty fine year in 2005-06. Although they ended the season ranked below the Dallas Stars and San Jose Sharks in the talent-laden Pacific Division, the Ducks clinched a playoff spot and advanced all the way to the semi-finals.

Ducks fans are looking forward to watching last season’s top scorer (40 goals), Teemu Selanne, as well as the youthful but no-longer-rookies group who sparked so much action last season, including Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry, and Dustin Penner. Two other guys new to the franchise in 2005-06, GM Brian Burke and Coach Randy Carlyle, seem to have hit their stride.
