Atlanta Thrashers

2006 Atlanta Thrashers

Even as we say “Congratulations” to the Ottawa Senators, winners of the Eastern Conference Finals, we want to say a big “Thank you” to the Atlanta Thrashers, winners of the Southeast Division, for the amazing season they had!

The Atlanta Thrashers are back in action, and Coast to Coast has your tickets to be at Philips Arena this season! The Atlanta Thrashers had a disappointing year in 2005-06 when goalies Kari Lehtonen and Mike Dunham both experienced injuries early in the season, though their fierce offense did their best to keep them in the running against tough Southeast Division competitors like the Carolina Hurricanes.

Lehtonen spent all summer getting in prime shape to get back out front of the goal. On the attack for the Thrashers will be three powerful forwards, Ilya Kovalchuk, Marian Hossa and Slava Kozlov. Fans will also be watching for more from the defense, led by Niclas Havelid.

Coach Bob Hartley thinks 2006-07 could at last be the year the Atlanta Thashers make it into the NHL playoffs. Coast to Coast has the tickets to put you in the stands where you can see for yourself.

Atlanta welcomed the return of the NHL in 1999 with the arrival of the Thrashers. Previously home to the Flames, Atlanta had been without an NHL team for nearly 20 years when the Flames were sold to a group of Calgary businessmen.

Atlanta is one of the fastest growing cities in the country and boasts a rabid fan base and great teams. The chances of getting Thrashers tickets are therefore slimmer than you might expect, so don't hesitate to order yours today.
