2007 BCS National Championship

Congratulations to all the participants in 2007’s inaugural BCS National Championship, and especially to the Florida Gators for their 41-14 victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes! Though the Buckeyes had defeated last year’s champion Texas Longhorns and archrival Michigan Wolverines as they maintained #1 ranking all season, the #2 Gators’ victory makes them national champs. It also makes Florida the first school to hold both the NCAA men’s basketball and football titles simultaneously!
