Congratulations to all the participants in the 2007 PetroSun Independence Bowl, and especially to the Alabama Crimson Tide for their 30-24 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes!

There’s a lot more fun to the PetroSun Independence Bowl than what happens on the Independence Stadium gridiron in Shreveport. In anticipation of the game, the picturesque Louisiana Boardwalk in nearby Bossier City is the site of the Independence Bowl Pep Rally, featuring a battle of the bands – and the cheerleaders – of both schools. It goes without saying that fabulous food and rollicking music will be available: this is Louisiana after all.
