Still known to many by its traditional title, the Peach Bowl was first recognized officially as part of the NCAA post-season in 1968. From 1998 to 2005, it carried the transitional name Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and now it’s officially named solely for its sponsor, Chick-fil-A. It is held at the Georgia Dome, which is the home of the National Football League's Atlanta Falcons. As high as a 27-story building with a roof made of fiberglass panels coated in Teflon, the Georgia Dome holds over 71,500 sports fans, and attendance at the Chick-fil-A Bowl has maxed out in recent years.
