The members of Fall Out Boy are Patrick Stump (Vocals and Guitar), Peter Wentz (Bassist), Andrew Hurley (Drummer) and Joseph Trohman (Guitarist). They had all been a part of the underground music scene in other popular bands in Chicago and came together in 2000.

Every member brought something different to the mix and what they ended up with was an inspiring emo sound that was polished and marketable. They have released a number of full length albums and fun EPs. Songs like 'Dance, Dance' and 'Dead on Arrival' are edgy and hardcore.

In 2003, Fall Out Boy released their debut album, Take This to Your Grave. It included singles like 'Grand Theft Autumn' and 'Saturday,' which got a lot of radio and MTV play. After their debut, Fall Out Boy signed with Island Records and recorded again in 2005.

Their first big label release was From Under the Cork Tree and it debuted at number nine on the Billboard Charts. The hit single 'Sugar, We're Goin' Down' got to number eight on the charts and the video went to number one on MTV's TRL show.

Their music garnered greatly positive attention from pop fans and emo fans alike and in 2006 Fall Out Boy was nominated for a Grammy. The band's live performance is their best talent.
