Guns N' Roses broke music fans free of the '80s pop-metal funk with their signature brand of rebellious rock & roll. They had a trashy edge, fiery lyrics, plus MTV and music videos to show off their flashy outfits and wild hair. Their 1987 release of Appetite for Destruction took them to the top of the charts, and GNR became a household name for parents with rebellious teenagers all over the world. Guns N' Roses concert tickets sold out arenas everywhere, and gritty songs like 'Welcome to the Jungle' and 'Sweet Child O' Mine' saturated the airwaves. Now you have a chance get Guns N' Roses tickets once again, for their brand new tour.

The most famous members of GNR over the years were Axl Rose (vocals), Slash (guitar), Steven Adler (drums), Izzy Stradlin (guitar) and Duff McKagan (bass). With these Los Angeles musicians as the core unit that was responsible for Appetite's success, Guns N' Roses began touring and played with the likes of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and KISS.

'Welcome to the Jungle,' 'Paradise City' and later 'Patience' off their second release G N'R Lies, carried them to heights beyond most rock bands of the time because of their universal appeal to lovers of heavy metal, pop and ballad rock. The last song off the record, 'One in a Million,' was their most controversial piece and it sparked a lot of harsh protest from critics and fans alike for its foul, bigoted, violent subject matter. Guns N' Roses survived the upset, despite public clamor against Axl Rose's apparent misogynistic attitude and aggressive tendencies.

It is true that no press is bad press, and Guns N Roses continued to put out albums, tour and make music videos. Axl Rose and Guns N Roses shifted their musical focus and put out the more sensitive albums Use Your Illusion I and II in 1991. They featured artful ballad style melodies and soul-reflective lyrics. Since then GNR has released a number of records that met with similar success.

Guns N' Roses are by far most famous for their fiery live performances. Many rebellious fans have done crazy things to get into sold out Guns N' Roses concerts.
