Robert Plant was an unknown singer with an incredible voice when guitarist Jimmy Page of the recently disbanded Yardbirds heard him in 1968. Robert Plant turned to soloing after Led Zeppelin, but even then, Jimmy Page was often present for guitar work. He formed the Honeydrippers in 1984, and this collaboration with Page, Jeff Beck and Nile Rodgers (of Chic) led to the Number 3 hit 'Sea of Love,' a remake of a 1959 pop hit.
