Sugarland, one of the hottest country acts of today, started in Atlanta in 2003 as a trio when Jennifer Nettles, Kristian Bush and Kristen Hall decided to form a band. Their first major label debut, 2004’s Twice the Speed of Life, shot up the album charts and has now reached double platinum status. To fans’ and the band’s dismay, Kristen Hall left the band in January 2006 to “stay home and write songs”, but Sugarland wasn’t slowed down, releasing their second album, Enjoy the Ride, in November of that year.
