2008 Trans-Siberian Orchestra

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is what Christmas is all about. They make gleeful Christmas albums and play live during the holidays. In 1996 the Trans-Siberian Orchestra was formed in New York City with 60 members making up the Orchestra and Chorus. Brought together by composers Paul O'Neill and Robert Kinkel, they play a rock-opera style of hard-rock Christmas music that people love to see live. Their first album went to number two on the Contemporary Christian charts.

TSO has put out a number of Christmas albums, including Christmas Eve and Other Stories, The Christmas Attic, and Lost Christmas Eve. Their 2004 release is called The Christmas Trilogy and includes all the music from their past three Christmas albums. You have probably never experienced good seasonal music done like this, and if you have, you'll want to see it again!
