The Charlotte Bobcats placed fourth in the Southeast Division yet again, though on the plus side, their 35 wins was a franchise best. Will they continue to improve in the 2009-10 season? During the offseason they traded center Emeka Okafor for Tyson Chandler from the Hornets, picked up guard Ronald “Flip” Murray from the Hawks and drafted guard Gerald Henderson and power forward Derrick Brown. Murray provides a much needed shot in the arm for the Bobcats beleaguered offense, but Henderson and Brown need to hit the ground running if the team wants a shot at the 2010 playoffs. What the team needs now is support from fans, so get your Time Warner Cable Arena tickets and cheer your heart out for your beloved Cats!
