The 2008-09 season was head coach Mike Holmgren’s last, and unfortunately defensive breakdowns and injuries landed the Seattle Seahawks in 3rd place in the NFC West. The 2009-2010 season should see the Seahawks back on top, as new coach Jim L. Mora focuses more on defense, and the players stuck on the injured reserve list last season, notably starting quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and top wide receivers Nate Burleson, Bobby Engram and Deion Branch, are healed and ready to play. If everyone stays healthy, the Seahawks should return to the playoffs and make a legitimate run at the Super Bowl. If you want to see your beloved Hawks in action then there’s no time to waste – now is the time to get your tickets to Qwest Field to see this popular team. So what are you waiting for? Get your Seattle Seahawks tickets today!
Some Seattle Seahawks history: The Seahawks joined the NFL in 1976 when the league granted an expansion team franchise to John Nordstrom, a Seattle department store owner. In the club's first season, quarterback Jim Zorn passed for more than 2,500 yards and was named the league's top offensive rookie. Jack Patera was named coach of the year in 1978 after leading the Seahawks to their first winning season. Zorn led the AFC in passing yardage that year, and wide receiver Steve Largent notched the first of his eight 1,000-yard seasons.
