'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' is the story of a magical flying car created by Professor Caractacus Potts, played on Broadway by Raśl Esparza. The musical features a new adaptation by Jeremy Sams that has closer ties to the film than the film did to the novel. In addition to the Raśl Esparza character, Truly Scrumptious is played by Erin Dilly, Grandpa Potts is Philip Bosco, and the evil Baron and Baroness are Marc Kudisch and Jan Maxwell. With incredible stage design and effects, the musical rivals the film for laughs and visual delights.
