Curtains is a fabulous new musical mystery. When the leading lady of a Boston play is murdered during the curtain call, Lt. Frank Cioffi is called to investigate. However, it becomes apparent that Lt. Cioffi harbors a keen interest in performing on the stage himself, and what unfolds becomes not only a stimulating murder mystery but a satirical examination of musical theater itself.

Ably portrayed by David Hyde Pierce, Cioffi’s desire to control both the murder investigation and the direction of the theater’s performances explodes onto the stage with laughs, dance and exuberant song. With a strong ensemble cast and a tantalizing storyline, Curtains has everything you need for the complete musical experience. To see what lies backstage behind the curtains, find Curtains tickets today.
Curtains is based on an original concept and book by Peter Stone (Titanic, The Will Rogers Follies) adapted for the stage by Rupert Holmes (Say Goodnight, Gracie). The accomplished team of musical director John Kander and lyricist Fred Ebb (Chicago) accentuate the individuality and talent of the performers.
Scott Ellis (The Threepenny Opera) directs a large, varied cast that includes Jim Newman (Steel Pier) as Randy, Debra Monk as theater producer Carmen Bernstein and Edward Hibbert (The Drowsy Chaperone) as the unfortunate director Christopher Belling. Megan Sikora provides a particularly charming performance as Bambie, the young girl dancer being introduced to the world of musical theater.
