As a result of the musical's success he was chosen to host and star in 'The Magic of ABC' which led to him signing with CBS to a series of specials, beginning with 'The Magic of David Copperfield'. The series of specials has aired in over 40 countries with an estimated viewing audience of over three billion people. Copperfield has also joined forces with Dean Koontz, Ray Bradbury and Joyce Carol Oates in a series of fiction books called 'Tales of the Impossible', which were set in the world of magic and illusion.
