Newsies - The Musical Tickets

Ever since the 1992 Disney film Newsies was released, millions across the globe have fell in love with this inspiring story. Fortunately, now those who loved the original tale of the orphaned young newspaper delivery boys can see this story live and in an entirely new way with Newsies the Musical.  The Disney theatrical production is a must see for anyone who has seen the film or for anyone looking for an uplifting musical that provides fun for the whole family. The story of Newsies the Musical follows the real Newsboys Strike that took place on the streets of New York City in 1899. The historical piece follows the same story told in the captivating book of the same name written by Harvey Fierstein. The story tells the tale of Jack, Devy and Les as they deal with the controversial aftermath of the New York World’s Joseph Pulitzer after he decided to increase the cost for newspaper boys to deliver their papers; making it impossible to earn a living wage.

As audiences hear the tale of Jack, Devy and Les and see their story unfold in song and dance, they find that many of the boys who are already orphans and homeless, are so devastated by the strike can no longer afford to buy newspapers to sell, a tragedy that sparks their infamous strike. This production follows the strike and the boys’ attempt to confront Pulitzer while showcasing its unique selection of upbeat classic music numbers such as “Santa Fe,”  “The World Will Know,” “Watch What Happens” and more.
