  In the world of rock n roll there are very few rockers who have the type of fame and following as Alice Cooper. When rock legend Alice Cooper first hit the rock music scene with his Alice Cooper band in 1960; the music industry was delivered with one of the most iconic rockers to ever hit the stage. Born Vincent Furnier; the singer didn't take on the Alice Cooper name until he broke away from his band the Alice Cooper band in 1975 and took the group's name on as his own.Even though the band saw great success; Vincent Furnier started his solo career as Alice Cooper and the now infamous album Welcome to My Nightmare. Since then the singer has released 19 albums as a solo artist and has been recognized as one of the biggest and most inventive rockers of his time. 

  Over his expansive career in the music industry, the singer and rocker has experimented with numerous musical influences and has been known for using horror as a way to entertain audiences during his live performances. In 2011, the original Alice Cooper band, along with Alice Copper himself, was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
