Andrew Peterson is a household name in the American Contemporary and Folk Music scene, having come a long way from a small town in Illinois called Monticello. He launched his first album in the year 2000 called Carried Along. The album was a big success and featured in the top ten charts and also got listed as one of the top ten albums on CCM Magazine. Andrew was already well known across America when he released his first album as he had toured extensively along with a team consisting of his guitarist Gabe and his wife Jamie. The first album was followed by several hit music albums including Clear To Venus, Love and Thunder and an album for Christmas called Behold The Lamb Of God: The True Tell Tale of The Coming Of Christ. Andrew has revolutionized the Christian music scene for more than a decade with his popular albums and hit singles. The hit son Family Man was nominated for Country Recorded Song of The Year in 2004. He has been releasing albums every year with a popular acclaim and growing fan base that eagerly awaits his albums. He also became popular with children after Slugs and Bugs and Lullabies a special kids album out of which 2 songs were incorporated into a highly popular children's video series which was a part of The Wonderful Wizard of Ha's. Besides his music talent Andrew Peterson is also a writer and has written a children's book called The Ballad of Matthew's Begats. He is also working on an adventure and fantasy novel series called The Wingfeather Saga, the first book of which was released in 2008 called On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness. He also owns a community of songwriters, artists and authors called the Rabbit Room and is one of the key members of a band called the Square Peg Alliance. Settled in Nashville, Andrew has a family consisting of his wife, 2 sons and a daughter.
