Originally hailing from Baltimore, Maryland the psychedelic rock band Animal Collective was formed thanks to the creative minds of Avey Tare (David Portner), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), Deakin (Josh Dibb) and Geologist (Brian Weitz). The group members came together with the goal to form an experimental rock band and one that pushed the boundaries of rock music today.
