2006 Rabbit Hole

Rabbit Hole is an original Manhattan Theatre Club production scheduled to open on Broadway in early 2006. The drama concerns a family that had everything. Their lives get torn apart after a life shattering accident, and the couple's relationship begins to suffer. They struggle to get their lives back on track and to bring light and goodness back to their dark depressing world. Daniel Sullivan, Tony Award winner, will be directing this bittersweet drama about the twists of fate that change human lives forever. You'll want to get Rabbit Hole tickets, because this is a tale of real suffering and genuine redemption.

Starring in the production are Cynthia Nixon as Becca, Tyne Daly as Nat, John Gallagher Jr. as Jason, Mary Catherine Garrison as Izzy, and John Slattery as Howie. Audiences probably know Cynthia Nixon best from her role as Miranda on HBO's Sex and the City. John Slattery has also appeared on that show as well as in continuing roles on Will and Grace. Tyne Daly is a multiple Emmy-winner, dating back to her role as the Lacey half of Cagney and Lacey, and most recently for her role in Judging Amy. She is Tony Award winner as well, earning Best Performance as a Leading Actress in a Musical when she played Mama rose in Gypsy.

Rabbit Hole was written by David Lindsay-Abaire, who in three successive years has contributed 'That Other Person,' 'Crazy Eights' and 'Baby Food,' segments of an unusual theatrical experience called The 24-Hour Plays. Though he has earned such recognition as the Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Award for his plays, Rabbit Hole marks the debut of a full-length work of his on Broadway. Directing is Daniel Sullivan who did After the Night and the Music, Julius Caesar, Brooklyn Boy and Sight Unseen. The music is by John Gromada.

This promises to be a great production with its memorable cast, intelligent script, and real-life drama. You must get your tickets to Rabbit Hole to experience this darkly humorous tale of one couple's fight to get the darkness out of their lives.
