Born in Boston in 1972, Dane Cook grew up in the city of Arlington, Massachusetts. He went to high school there and worked in a video store as a young man. Much of his material comes from stories of his family and childhood antics. Dane Cook uses government and politics as subjects for his more socially conscious comedy. All of his stuff is laugh-out-loud funny, and his audiences feel they really get to know him through the show.
