Ades and Berlioz History

Ades is a British pianist, composer, and conductor born on 1st march 1971. He went to Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he studied piano and composition. He later joined King's College, in Cambridge where he attained a degree in relevant career. After his studies, Ades was made a professor of music composition at Royal Academy of Music in Britain. In 2004, University of Essex awarded him an honorary doctorate. In 2007 his festival work was presented at the place called Barbican Arts Centre in London. Here he was chosen to be the focus of contemporary music festival which is held annually on Radio France in London. His music included the UK premiere of a fresh work for Berlin Philharmonic and Simon Rattle. He then became the focus of the annual composer festival of Stockholm concert hall in 2009. In 2010, he was appointed as member of Royal Swedish Academy of Music.

On the other hand, Berlioz was a French romantic composer born on 11th December 1803. His compositions included Symphonie fantastique and Requiem. This kind of music made Berlioz popular. He made significant offerings to the so called modern orchestra using his Treatise. Some of his work was specified on huge orchestral forces. Most of his concerts were conducted with over 1,000 musicians. As a composer, Berlioz composed about 50 songs. His influence was vital for the development of Romanticism. Even though he died, his compositions are still popular among the people.
