Want to know a little more about this tour’s performers? Here are the crib notes: Adam Lambert – Despite being criticized by judges Kara DioGuardi and Simon Cowell for being theatrical during his audition, Adam Lambert has gone on to be one of the favorites on American Idol. His trademark black eyeliner and painted nails seem to add to his appeal rather than detract from it, and his outstanding performances of such varied songs as Cher’s “Believe”, Michael Jackson’s “Black or White”, Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” and Tears for Fears’ “Mad World” have proven his talent and versatility.

Allison Iraheta – Allison isn’t new to the stage. In 2006, she competed and won on the Telemundo reality show, Quinceañera, scoring $50,000 and a recording contract. Her performance on American Idol has been just as stellar, with her heart-felt renditions of Heart’s “Alone”, The Temptations’ “Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone” and Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” winning unparalleled praise from the judges, prompting DioGuardi to say that her voice "comes from God - you can't teach that - you sing like you've been singing for 400 years". Allison Iraheta has a very promising career ahead of her, and you can see this legend in the making with tickets to American Idols Live!
Anoop Desai – Anoop has the distinction of being the brainiest American Idol finalist, holding Bachelor’s degrees in both Political Science and American Studies, winning the 2008 Peter C. Baxter Memorial Prize in American Studies, and currently working towards a Masters degree in folklore. Amazingly, Desai has still had time to focus on his singing, notably joining the UNC Clef Hangers, an all male a capella group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Desai was almost voted off American Idol, but he squeaked in as a surprise 13th contestant in the Finals, and he’s gone on to be a real darling of Idol fans.
