Vibrant rockers from across the country competed to front the band, with American viewers helping to eliminate a contestant each week. In the finale, J.D. Fortune was selected over Marty Casey as the new lead singer of INXS. Marty's band, Lovehammers, is opening for INXS on their North American tour dates.
