2014 Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood puts on a spectacular show. She is the quintessential country artist, blending the old sound with the new. Many other female artists list Trisha Yearwood among their influences. This is why tickets sell out to so many concerts around the US. Her particular brand of female crooning appeals to all generations and at her live shows she proves that she belongs on stage.

Trisha Yearwood was born in 1964 in Monticello, Georgia. She studied to be in the music business in college and soon became a back up vocalist for Garth Brooks. Incredibly she appeared on two of Garth's albums before she landed a record deal with MCA. Her self-titled debut album soared to the top of the charts with her intoxicating single 'She's In Love With The Boy.' Three more singles from that album went Top Ten, and Garth Brooks co-wrote one of them.

Yearwood's first and second albums went platinum. Continuing to top the charts, Trisha Yearwood recorded and won a Grammy and an Oscar nomination for 'How Do I Live' on the soundtrack of the movie Con Air. At the CMA's and AMA's she won Female Vocalist of the Year awards in 1997 and 1998. Selling out tickets to her concerts was not hard especially with her duets sung with legends like Garth Brooks and Don Henley.

Trisha's foray into television in the drama JAG was as successful as her music. Her concerts, however, are the most personal you can get with Trisha. She pours her body and soul into her singing and you feel comfortable with her from the start of the show. Get tickets to her concert and see if you don't agree--Trisha Yearwood is America's most precious recording artist since country and pop collided.
