The 2006-07 season didn’t bring the relief that Rockets’ fans had been hoping for – though they made it to the playoffs, they were knocked out yet again in the first round. Things are really looking up for the 2007-08 season though, with new head coach Rick Adelman busily filling in holes in the roster. Mike James (from the Minnesota Timberwolves) and Steve Francis (from the Portland Trailblazers) have been brought in to assist Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming, the need for a power forward has been nicely addressed with the addition of Luis Scola and Bonzi Wells is coming along quite well under Adelman’s instruction. The Houston Rockets are a team with a new look and a long history. The Rockets first came to Houston in 1971, and they have been a fan-favorite ever since. In 1981, they became the first Houston team to ever make the Finals. They have won four Division Titles and two NBA Championships since coming to Houston, and they are looking to continue their winning tradition.
