The show Atomic brings the tale of the Atomic bomb to audiences in an entirely new way. The character’s motivations unfold as audiences see the motivation behind Szilard’s work, as he is convinced his teacher, Albert Einstein to send a letter to FDR about the real danger that the Nais would develop and atomic weapon. The story shows how this led to the creation of the Manhattan Project.The story also talks about Szilard’s cancer diagnosis and the radiation treatment he used to eliminate that cancer.
