Bernie Mac Tickets

Bernie Mac had audiences cracking up for over 30 years, first gaining popularity as a stand-up comedian at the Cotton Pickin’ Club in Chicago, then winning the Miller Lite Comedy Search. His first big break came when he performed on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, and from there he skyrocketed to stardom as a comedian and an actor, starring in such films as Ocean’s Eleven, Bad Santa, Guess Who? and even his own sitcom, The Bernie Mac Show, which ran from 2001 through 2006, picking up an Emmy Award and a Peabody Award along the way. Sadly, his life was cut short on August 9, 2008 when Bernie died from complications of pneumonia at only 50 years old. He will be sorely missed.
