Liverpool FC are an English Premier League club football side, with arguably one of the greatest track records of any club football team on the planet. Founded in 1892 they are one of the two soccer teams in the city of Liverpool, UK, with Everton being their lifelong rivals. Liverpool FC play at Anfield stadium and are renowned for their loyal fan base.Their team colours are red, hence their nickname, 'The Reds, or 'The Mighty Reds' and they have one of the most recognizable anthems of any soccer team in the world, 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. In the days before stadiums became all seated, the standing area behind their goal, famously known as 'The Kop' was renowned for having the most vocal supporters in the country, and it was often said The Kop gave Liverpool FC a one goal advantage for home fixtures.Two previous famous managers were Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley, both legends of the game.5 FA Cup wins, 8 League Cup wins, 5 European Cup / Champions League wins, 18 Football League First Division titles, although they have not managed to win the Premiership title at the time of writing.
